This is so damn good and True. I wish I had the means to buy Zero’s subs for everyone in the country and force them to read this, at gunpoint, if needed. 😅
(Okay, I’m a super fan. Probs b/c I’m an old lady that’s lived a lot of life and knows Truth and Brilliance when I read it.)
Amazing as always! I’m kind of stuck between building an online presence that represents my morals and thoughts, and being cancelled because of how I think. On my academic path I was sabotaged every step of the way: accused of promoting eugenics (on an essay about Herbert’s Dune...), called a Renaissance person as an insult, failed my thesis because I refused to use anything but the generic word man as it’s always been, cut out of all the phd fundings, not allowed to take part of any competition because I’m a ‘privileged’ white woman who doesn’t adhere to (sadly) true stereotypes about women. What would be your advice , hide what my moral compass is and just write? Or go all in?
Zero HP Lovecraft explained his vision of what a better government would be like in his 6 part podcast series called "Marooned in the Deepest Darkness of the Ultimate Nightmare Abyss", which is almost 10 hours long, he gives a very nuanced and detailed perspective.
What an unbelievable roundhouse kick into the mental balls. A subtly piercing reality check, going deeper and deeper, killing all illusions. Had fun reading it, need to read and reflect a few more times.
I offer a platitude. All thats said is already known.
Its an underappreciated fact in some places, that when the world imagines what an American looks like, one of the things they imagine is a figure like Donald Trump. No matter whether that feeling about the US is a disliking or an admiration for it, he easily becomes an icon for both sentiments. Blonde and White, Fat and artificially tanned, Wealthy and ostentatious, crude appetites and blunt attitudes, open and relentlessly enthusiastic. Its all a stereotype — some of it meant to be insulting — but its him. Tack it on and we'd nod along. He's an archetype, if you will.
And while Trump does inspire ill-will and disagreeable feelings towards him (sometimes going out of his way for it), the general attitude about him is aspirational, even much more so abroad. He's the rich man the commoners abroad wish they were, the chad some men want to be, the machiavellian one wishes they all had on their side, and at once a rebel against tyrannical bores and a champion of righteous order.
What I'm saying is, though I myself won't like the man for his politics, had we been a different people in a different time, no one would look ridiculous for saying he ought to be a king.
This is what my writing wants to be when it grows up.
Obviously I don't agree with every specific point and detail, but oddly enough, I don't take umbrage or feel offended or defensive over the bits I'd disagree with. They are part of the whole, and the whole is well scribed.
I enjoyed listening to this while cleaning up my kitchen and dishes. It’s helpful to thing about leftism as “fuck you, Dad” energy and as devouring mother energy.
I want to be a good, non-devouring mother to me teenage sons and I am grateful to have a good husband to keep my worst instincts in check when it comes to my parenting.
People without good fathers in the household seem specifically susceptible to leftist ideologies.
I loved my Dad. I adore my husband. I want a future of possibility for my white straight sons.
Ex: Have you ever met a single, living, breathing rightist who unironically attends Patriot Front rallies or supports them? What's the possible alternative if they have no grassroots support?
How many living, breathing rightists of our persuasion have you met irl? Do you live in an area with a lot of them? “I’ve never met one so they’re all feds” is a pretty weak argument
I've gotten around quite a lot, and while I suppose my personal relationships don't form a conclusive study, I have learned that the unique intersection of both blind and ideologically extreme one would have to reach in order to think that the kind of actions Patriot Front-types perform are worthwhile and productive, so much so as to justify one's own involvement, is practically nonexistent.
You're telling me they've been paying so little attention that they believe their little marches are actually useful, for anything, at all? What's the risk/benefit analysis here? How do their demonstrations further their cause at all?
Organizations have people at the top. Generally, theyre the more competent of the bunch. Anyone can gin up plenty of footsoldiers to do just about anything. The question is why would a reasonably competent person take a look at the PF game plan and think it makes sense, or is worthwhile to pursue? Everybody knows how "protests" work, and how they don't actually work unless you're a supporter of the regime. So it doesn't make sense to go out and run these risks, unless that is, of course, the leaders are bad faith actors.
A lot of people are not totally enlightened on how “irl activism doesn’t do heckin anything” and believe it or not want to “do something.” PF’s activism has been much more successful and benefitted our cause more (even if not by much) than any other irl group out there. Is it really that far fetched that there are RW people of good quality who actually want to go out and do activism? I don’t think so. Also PF’s bit is that they aren’t trying to be “ideologically extreme.” They coat themselves in the Americana aesthetic and use vague talking points in order to make themselves appear less extreme if anything, and attract more people who might otherwise not go for the activism bit.
IRL "activism" is plenty effective, but it's a matter of kind. Public protests aren't activism: it's church service for the Left. It's how they show their support and prop up their regime. The Left uses protest to justify real political and legislative action. The protests themselves don't accomplish anything concrete.
RW "activism" requires a different form entirely. Building underground intellectual networks, businesses, social organizations, public offices, etc etc. Protests only work one way and they arent for you. We're fighting an asymmetric battle, here.
I realize that I talked past you on my other comment a bit; the reason I dont think PF's public protests are useful, even for attracting some fence sitters, is because for every fence sitter they attract, they draw the Eye of Sauron tenfold, especially with their dubious branding. Which is once again why I think they are astro turfed.
I see where you’re coming from, but my experience in our circles leads me to disagree. I don’t have a problem with a vanguard faction doing propaganda and making themselves know irl as long as they present themselves well. Actual feds lead people to violence and breaking the law in egregious ways, which PF generally avoids.

Yes, just write. Go in
Well I’m definitely stealing the Doppler shift analogy.
Out of curiosity, do you support something like Curtis Yarvin’s Sovereign-corp state? Or something else?
Because I’m curious as to what you think would be a better government of the future.

This was so fucking good. I was going to write a comment, but instead wrote a tweet, so hopefully more ppl see it & actually read it..

"Hail the Messiah!"
"I'm not the Messiah!"
"I say you are, Lord, and I should know, I've followed a few!"
(All) "HAIL THE MESSIAH!"
Brilliant as always. We need another mimetic Trump commercial like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbM6WbUw7Bs
💯

Yeesh.
That time machine the Trump family stole from Tesla really worked.
He's gonna come.

Forgive my typos 😅 I am abysmal at typing.
Worship of messianic figures ties into the switch from Bannon to Evola: from actions to art critic.
Can you elaborate on the claim that the ADL funds unite the right et al so they can secure funding? New to this and didn’t realize this was so obvious
